Dixie’s first day of work at The Meadows was a day of anxiety for me; I wanted her to be happy. I was waiting in the car when she came out of the door; there was a big smile on her face. I gave everything a thumbs-up for us.
She has worked at The Meadows for almost 16 years and looks forward to it every day. She, like the other workers, looks forward to payday.
The first day we visited, I was impressed with how clean, neat and orderly The Meadows was and continues to be.
I am thankful for the staff. As a parent, I know it takes someone special to work, help and teach our young people. I have always thought Dixie was safe and well cared for while at work.
We are both grateful for the friends we have made.

The Meadows has been a wonderful, safe work place for our son Jeff. He has worked at The Meadows nine years this July 2008.
Jeff has grown in independence, and confidence in accomplishing a variety of jobs. He also has learned teamwork and leadership, and has many friendships.
We, and Jeff, are very thankful for The Meadows, and what it offers. It is a blessing to the community and its clients. Its fine staff is to be commended.
KARAN AND JOE MCDONALD
My first introduction to The Meadows was at its conception. A student in my class at U.C.O. was a spokesman in opposition to the zoning for The Meadows. At that time, I ignored the whole situation, but little did I realize the impact The Meadows would have on our family.
Our daughter, Leah, has worked at The Meadows for nearly twenty (20) years. She enjoys her work and looks forward to paydays. Her work ethic and discipline have surpassed our greatest expectations. The Meadows has given her a social life with many friends. She loves to spend part of her check eating out with friends.
In our association with The Meadows, we have become friends with many people who appreciate The Meadows and work hard to help maintain its goals. The most important thing at The Meadows is the quality and caring staff. We never have to worry about Leah’s health and welfare while she is at work.
We appreciate The Meadows Board of Directors, Executive Director and the hands on staff.
